Welcome to the St George Instrumental Eisteddfod
St George Instrumental Eisteddfod 2020 has been cancelled
As the COVID-19 crisis continues to escalate domestically and globally, the St George Instrumental Eisteddfod Committee has made the decision to cancel this year's Eisteddfod. While the 2020 St George Instrumental Eisteddfod is a couple of months away we needed to make a decision now and unfortunately the event cannot go ahead as planned. For the wellbeing and safety of our entrants, family, teachers, our community and our volunteers, we believe the cancellation is in everyone's best interest.
All entrants are entitled to a full refund, or donate their fees to the organisation for a tax-deductible receipt. If you have entered and paid, please be in contact with us via email to discuss your refund or donation.
Be safe. As always, thank you for your support and we hope to come back in 2021 with a bigger and better Eisteddfod.
Devoted volunteers make up the St George Instrumental Eisteddfod Committee. The Committee aims to foster and develop new and existing talent and ensure future generations have the opportunity to compete against the best talent, at the highest level, and in a friendly and supportive way.
Our Convener, Mrs Kathryn Phillips, has 50 years plus experience in teaching piano and violin in the St George area. She is one of the most experienced and respected AMEB piano and string examiners in NSW.
Our commitment is to provide the best and most experienced adjudicators for our competitors. We believe that participants should have exposure to the very best in music tuition and education. If you want to contact us to find out more about the Eisteddfod, please email
